PU ItemStats is a basic mambot that provides mouseover effects for World of Warcraft items on your website, much like the mouseovers you get in game or at Thottbot.
The way it works is that you enclose your item using BBCODE like tags while you write content items. For example: [item]Cenarion Helm[/item]. If the mambot was installed, that would turn into a purple link you could mouseover to get statistics for the Cenarion Helm.
The PU ItemStats plugin utilizes the open source ItemStats projects, as well as item data from Thottbot or Allakhazam.
Note that this bot isn't well polished. It doesn't work if your website is in a subdirectory (example:
